My elderly neighbors left all the windows down on their SUV when I got home a few hours ago. I let them know but they only rolled up their front windows so I went back and covered their rear windows with towels. I left a note on their windshield that said “You forgot to raise your rear windows but I have you covered. Cody next door”

Edit: after a Facebook suggestion I went back and put a trashbag under each window then put the towels back on top.

Great job and a thoughtful act. I did this before for a random lady who parked her minivan across the street from my house.

I just happened to be looking out of the window when I see a lady walking away from her just parked van and she pressed what I assume she thought was the lock button on her fob but instead all the windows came down! I ran downstairs but by the time I got up the street she was gone.

It was actually going to rain super heavy that day and the sky was already getting dark. I grabbed painters tape and garbage bags and started covering her windows, a cop car passed by, told them what happened but when they ran the plate the address came up from a completely different Boro (I’m in the bronx the address was in Queens). Thankfully one of the cops helped me tape up the remaining windows and it started the rain just as we finished the last 2 windows.

I noticed my neighbor left her lights on one night while walking my dog. Going to knock on her front door I noticed the car was actually still RUNNING with the keys inside. Who does that?

She might not be the smartest, but she makes up for it in looks.
